Favourite Photos of 2018
I am excited to share my favourite photos of 2018 with all of you. But can it already be the middle February? Time is flying as it does with a full and busy life. I look back on 2018 and the moments that I captured. I smile with happiness thinking of the time I spent with so many good people. These folks had large hearts and such unique family dynamics. I never realized that this amazing business of mine would lead me down so many roads. I have been touched by so many amazing people.
2019 has already been an exciting start with a conference trip to Click Away in California where I learned so much and made some new photographer friends that I am excited to learn and grow with. I love and hate the solitary business of photography. I love that I get to make my own hours and I am my own boss. However, I often need to bounce ideas off of someone as well as ask for opinion or advice. These new photography friends will fill this void and I am so happy to have met all of them!
I have already photographed a few Rainbow Baby sessions that have made me cry as I was touched by the sorrow these families have experienced.
These Rainbow baby sessions also bring me immense joy as I am giving these families the gift of memories as well as keeping the memory of my sweet Ella alive. I have also added fresh 48 sessions to my repertoire and I LOVE these sessions. The first few days in the hospital are such a blur and the emotions of holding your baby for the first time are so raw and larger than life. I absolutely love fresh 48 sessions!
Take a look at my favourite photos and I can’t wait to continue meeting new families and growing as a photographer in 2019.
